GRAND SEIKO

Japanese Fine Watchmaking shines with Grand Seiko!

Studio Marianne Guély unveils a graphic décor composed of different symmetrical paintings, a reinterpretation of the emotions of the end-of-year festivities for Grand Seiko’s European flagship located on Place Vendôme: a monumental and sparkling composition that brings together a collection of exceptional papers made up of the Studio’s unique and historical archives.

For the bespoke creations of this decor, the Studio’s artists and artisans selected papers and textured materials directly inspired by the Japanese watchmaker’s dials. Our creative teams reinterpreted them in volume with various straight pleats to create paper rhythms that respond to the bamboo rhythms. These noble materials harmoniously interact with the sobriety of the flagship designed by architect
Kengo Kuma.
