OPERA COMIQUE GALA

STUDIO MARIANNE GUÉLY, PARTNER OF THE GALA OF THE OPÉRA COMIQUE UNVEILS A SPARKLING DECOR FOR AN EVENING ON THE MOON.

To support the lyrical creations of the Opéra-Comique, the artists and artisans of Studio Marianne Guély imagined and produced paper decorations for the Gala evening on the theme of the voyage to the Moon on January 25, 2023.
The creative team deployed its expertise in this historic venue, a traditional blend of theater and music, which has seen the birth of masterpieces of French musical heritage, including Carmen, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Lakmé, Pelléas and Mélisande… and some 3,000 others.

In the hall, guests were greeted by a constellation of paper stars handmade in our Parisian workshop. The papers are cut, curved and shaped by us before being glittered. During this evening under the sign of the cosmos, guests will also discover our monumental and glittering Moons scattered in several places, and centerpieces of celestial inspiration.

“Fearless, generous, inclusive, innovative, the Opéra-Comique of today and tomorrow is a unique project!” says Christine d’Ornano, president of the organizing committee also composed of: Hubert Barrère, Vincent Darré, Mathilde Favier, François Henrot, Maja Hoffmann, Alix Laine, Alexia Niedzielski, Kamel Mennour, Vanessa van Zuylen.

The donations collected will finance the performances of the Maîtrise Populaire and the creation of an Academy of the
Opéra-Comique.
