DE MAINS DE MAÎTRE is a concept of conferences and exhibitions inspired by artistic techniques such as painting and sculpture. Created by Frédéric Bau, the objective is to propose an enchanting event to highlight the art and material of chocolate, talent and creation, not only to artisans but also to the largest number of gourmets and gourmands sensitive to good and beautiful.

L’OEUF is a collaborative project that brings together artisans and artists around a collaborative exhibition to highlight their savoir-faire and expertise through the material.
Patrick Roger, chocolate sculptor, is the sponsor of this exhibition held under the auspices of Pierre Hermé. About fifty artworks are presented: chefs and artisans, artists, famous personalities and talents in the making, pastry chefs, chocolate makers, paintings, sculptors, visual artists, photographers, designers, perfumers, ceramists…

The egg theme is not a coincidence, but a strong and unique element. It is the symbol of Easter, but also the symbol of creation, birth, rebirth and renewal. Its shape is an endless source of inspiration, which can be declined over and over again.

Invited by Frédéric Bau, the artist Marianne Guely has embraced the theme to create a delicate and audacious sculpture: a Yin & Yang egg. Between complementarity and opposition, light and darkness, full and empty, the curves of the sculpture can be read by the succession of geometric lines. The egg is built in the manner of a nest, by a mikado of twigs in black and white creation papers. Through a symbolic force, this artwork pays homage to the nest, the place of shelter of the precious egg.
