VALENTINO X MARIANNE GUÉLY

At the request of maison Valentino, Marianne Guély went the boutiques in Milan, Paris, London, and Geneva for a live performance, creating a paper sculpture/totem inspired by the Altorilievo (high relief), a fabulous work halfway between couture and sculpture, and emblematic of the Maison’s new collection. This “augmented guipure” with a motif of hibiscus flowers lends itself beautifully to a paper interpretation.

The shared values of maison Valentino and Studio Marianne Guély, such as pride in developing craftsmanship, passion for materials, and fierce attention to the smallest detail, drive this beautiful collaboration. In a whirlwind of white, cotton poplin, silk, crepe, and paper engage in an immaculately subtle dialogue.

At the end of this moment of poetry and sharing, privileged clients were able to leave with their personally created, signed Marianne Guély paper flower, numbered and unique, designed as a lucky charm, a precious and singular attention.
